We are currently recruiting for an exciting Technical Account Manager / Sales role with a leading company in specialist design and manufacture.
The role will suit applicants who are experienced in providing or wish to gain a fuller understanding of the sales process, including qualifying leads, preparing and delivering proposals and quotations, closing sales and managing customer relationships. You will be able to develop high quality, ongoing relationships with customers to improve the likelihood of repeat business.
What will you be doing?
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for customers seeking information or quotations.
- Support the Business Development Manager with proposals and quotations for newly qualified leads.
- Work with customers to understand requirements and with in-house engineers on system design and subsequent quoting (specifications/equipment schedules, schematics, other drawings).
- Seek to build long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities. Be the first point of contact for customer relationships to manage and mitigate any post-delivery requirements, liaising with technical teams for resolution.
- Follow the sales process to close and record activities in company software. Monitor and report progress in weekly sales meetings.
- Follow up on quoted projects for feedback and to build relationships with customers. Attend virtual or in-person meetings as required.
- Coordinate with internal and external engineers, technical teams and project managers.

- Excellent team player
- Excellent communicator with good written skills for producing quotations
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Experience of working with Mechanical & Electrical contractors (Estimators/Quantity Surveyors/Project Managers) is desirable
- CAD skills are preferred
