BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for Senior Automation Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Frome. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation professional.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Upgrade outdated automation equipment
- Develop automation specifications and functional analyses for industrial projects
- Manage contractors and engineers during projects
- Automation expertise to support the engineering team
- Monitor site automation
- On-call duties in rotation
Skills:
- Subject matter expert in automation.
- Experience working with Schneider equipment or Rockwell.
- Managing automation projects
- Experience in programming the SCADA system WONDERWARE would be beneficial.
- Supervisory experience
- Experience of Food industry would be beneficial.
- Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and legislation requirements.
- Confident in autonomous decision making and team working
