We are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Quality Technician to join their Supplier Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic, quality-driven environment, supporting supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in supporting supplier quality activities, enabling Supplier Quality Engineers to focus on strategic supplier development. You will be involved in a wide range of operational and quality-focused tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess supplier PPAP submissions
- Carry out PPAP system clean-up and investigations
- Liaise with suppliers on quality issues, returns, and documentation
- Attend supplier meetings relating to returns and non-conformances
- Perform stock checks, including rework and corrective actions
- Manage return-to-stock and scrap processes
- Coordinate and document repair activities
- Handle invoices and export documentation for supplier returns
- Support packing and pallet preparation for returns and shipments
About You

- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000) and Six Sigma tools
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g. 8D) and statistical techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
