BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter / Service Engineer to work for our client who are an engineering / manufacturing company in Bristol.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts to the required specification
- Working to engineering drawings to build mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies
- Installation of component parts
- Mechanical Build and fitting
- Pneumatic installation
- Working in a team of mechanical fitters to meet build targets
- Machine maintenance
- Reactive and planned maintenance (service of customer equipment on site)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mechanical engineering skills (e.g. apprenticeship, qualification or relevant experience)
- Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials
- Ability to understand mechanical design assembly
- Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of assembling fabricated parts to engineering drawings
- Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000 per year + overtime (depending on experience)
Must have valid driving licence. Some travel may be required.
