This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in water treatment, filtration or electro-mechanical engineering. You will be on-site most days, supporting customers, keeping systems running smoothly and representing a growing business with a strong reputation for quality. A full UK driving licence is essential.
If you come from a Royal Engineers or REME background, you will feel right at home. Full training is provided where needed.
The Role- Servicing and maintaining water treatment systems across the South and South West
- Membrane exchanges and installing replacement parts
- CIP work and chemical management
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Writing risk assessments and method statements
- Daily reporting and clear communication with customers
- Identifying opportunities to add value on site
- Ensuring pilot and rental systems are operating correctly
- Planning and coordinating site visits
- Supporting with system builds and commissioning
- Assisting on installations and project work
- Attending customer meetings and presentations
- Gathering data from pilot systems
- Positive, proactive and solutions-focused
- Takes pride in doing a job well and efficiently
- Strong communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Organised, thorough and confident managing your own workload
- Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients
- Competent with MS Office
- Full driving licence (required)
- Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, and/or
- Degree in process, chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a practical, hands-on engineering role
- Experience with PLC/HMI basics is beneficial
