We are working on behalf of our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, to recruit a mechanically biased Product Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to which you will enjoy working in a varied role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects, working collaboratively across teams to meet deadlines and maintain the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Modelling on 3D CAD
Working in Production to Troubleshoot.
Creating new parts on the PLM.
Amending older product drawings to update to current requirements.
Working in collaboration with Senior Management.
Writing Competent documentation.
Using 3D CAD, 2D CAD and MS Paint
What We\’re Looking For:
Minimum qualification to HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline.
Some hands on mechanical experience is preferred.
3D CAD to a competent level, Solidworks preferred but other CAD systems considered. Some use of 2D CAD would be preferred
Ability to draft technical documents and reports to a good standard.
Can react to changing workloads and priorities
Good communication skills as you will be collaborating with different departments at all levels as a matter of course.
