The Role

As Team Manager – Sustaining Electrical Engineering, you’ll lead a team of approximately six electrical engineers responsible for supporting products across the full lifecycle — from issue investigation and root-cause analysis to design change, validation, release, and reliability improvements. • Product lifecycle support
  • Own technical governance for engineering changes, ensuring robust documentation and configuration control (ECR/ECO).
  • Lead structured problem-solving using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and CAPA.
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project management, service teams, and customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams
  • Strong background in electrical engineering within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Experience balancing technical leadership with people management responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of engineering governance, compliance, reliability, and product development best practice
  • Experience coordinating engineering projects and stakeholders
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential.

What’s On Offer?

  • Salary up to £63,000
  • 7.5% Annual Bonus
  • Hybrid Working – Bristol
  • Excellent career development opportunities
