Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
The role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will deliver high-quality mechanical engineering across innovative semiconductor equipment projects. You’ll take ownership of technical delivery, support product development, and help drive projects from concept through to production.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver mechanical engineering expertise across systems, subsystems and new technologies
- Support multiple projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality and specification
- Apply best practice engineering and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure strong technical governance across safety, compliance and reliability
- Coordinate and support work packages across cross-functional teams
- Help projects move smoothly through milestones to production
What we’re looking for:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of design for manufacture, assembly, cost and maintainability
- Experience in mechanical design within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Proactive mindset with a focus on development and improvement
- Exposure to regulated industries and safety/compliance standards (desirable)
- Knowledge of tools such as HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA (desirable)
- Working towards professional accreditation (desirable)
