Provides subject matter expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of assigned projects from business case development through execution. Works across BMO to deliver specific project/program business results aligned with overall group goals. Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Responsible for procuring new development projects and/or sites within portfolio based on business needs.
Create leasing plans and gather market data to assist in strategic decision-making. Responsible for coordination with internal stakeholders (property management, project managers, and design managers) as well as external stakeholders such as legal as it relates to each deal. Provide regular pipeline and milestone updates to key stakeholders and executive team. Create and maintain Landlord and broker relationships in the marketplace. Work collaboratively with other members of the leasing team. Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. Assists in the development of strategic plans. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. Breaks down strategic problems and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Manages databases and provides support for analysis, forecasting, and/or data visualization, ensuring adherence with data governance standards. Coordinates the management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards. Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues. Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces. Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs. Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects/programs and ensures alignment to overall enterprise and group goals. Identifies enablers and key issues prior to and during implementation to raise issues with stakeholders and offer solutions that resolve issues or risks jeopardising delivery.

Qualifications: Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with working with lease agreements and other legal documentation. Willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks. Familiar with established process analysis and improvement tools. Solid knowledge of testing strategies, test plans, and execution. Solid understanding of the business unit’s risk and regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of the business unit’s transaction fulfilment procedures. Solid knowledge of process and/or project management. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
