About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic product team. The role reports to the Head of Data Science for EMEA and APAC and has a direct line to the Chief Product Officer. You will leverage our product suite to drive marketing initiatives and perform in-depth analysis, while also working closely with clients to gather feedback and help them apply our solutions to solve their unique challenges. Your responsibilities include collaborating with clients and key stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable, data‑driven solutions, maintaining comprehensive documentation for code and methodologies, and communicating findings effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive impact using the BMLL product suite to support marketing and sales, directly contributing to business growth.
  • Collaborate and innovate with the go‑to‑market team, providing customer support and gathering feedback that shapes product evolution.
  • Leverage advanced resources by assisting in technical prototyping for external partners and clients, utilizing a petabyte‑scale data lake and cutting‑edge data science tools.
  • Contribute to product development by supporting the product roadmap, generating ideas, and actively participating in the product development cycle.

Requirements (Essential)

  • At least 5 years of quantitative analysis experience, with a minimum MSc in a quantitative discipline such as a STEM subject or Economics.
  • Proficiency in Python and related libraries (NumPy, pandas, Polars, scikit‑learn) for data manipulation and statistical modelling.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Futures/Options order book market data, and strong familiarity with other financial instruments such as derivatives, equities, and fixed income.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with object‑oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, or other database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience on the Buy Side.
