You will work closely with a 24/7 full-coverage control room, operations teams, and senior leadership to deliver compliant, scalable, and commercially viable security solutions.

Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Identify and secure new public sector and commercial security contracts
  • Target local authorities, housing associations, procurement frameworks, and large commercial clients
  • Convert existing relationships into measurable revenue
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Actively find new clients rather than waiting for enquiries: cold calling, emailing, networking and site visits
  • Take the initiative to plan and deliver an outreach campaign to grow the department

Public Sector & Procurement Engagement

  • Engage with council officers, procurement managers, and housing teams
  • Navigate tendering, frameworks, and compliance requirements
  • Support and lead bid submissions and presentations

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with new clients
  • Ensure contracts are operationally and commercially viable
  • Build profitable quotations, manage margins, negotiate contracts and identify upsell opportunities

Essential Experience & Attributes

  • Extensive experience in security sales (10+ years required)
  • Proven success working with local authorities or public sector bodies
  • Strong understanding of procurement, tendering, and compliance
  • Established network of public sector or commercial contacts
  • Ability to influence senior decision-makers and win contracts
  • Commercially astute and results-driven
  • London-based, as the role is office-based
  • Proven track record, able to evidence performance against annual sales targets
  • Able to bring an established client base and a wealth of industry knowledge to the business
  • Established LinkedIn presence with a strong core network within the security industry
  • Relationships with managing agents, developers, councils, demolition firms, receivers and landlords
  • Understands guarding, K9, CCTV, vacant property protection, inspections and enforcement services
  • Uses a CRM properly, manages pipeline, follows up consistently, shows measurable results
  • Willing to work long hours, including commuting to site visits and client meetings
  • Previous employment within a local authority, housing association, or Tier 1 security provider
  • Experience securing multi-site or multi-year contracts
  • Knowledge of evictions, vacant property management, or enforcement-led security services

  • Full operational backing
  • Supportive and experienced management team
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Opportunity to shape growth within a delivery-focused business
