- 1. Position Overview
The Field Application Specialist (FAS) plays a critical role in bridging technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities.
This position requires the ability to provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support, promote customer satisfaction, assist in business development, and ensure the successful execution of company services.
The FAS is expected to collaborate across departments, respond flexibly to business needs, and contribute to the company's ongoing growth.

- 2. Key Responsibilities
- A. Client Support and Partnership Development
- Support the sales team during client visits, technical discussions, and project follow-ups, facilitating strong client relationships;
- Provide professional technical consultation on BMK's service offerings and application scenarios;
- Address client inquiries regarding workflows, procedures, and result interpretation to support project conversion and business growth;
- Assist in collecting and relaying client feedback, promoting resolution and enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
- B. Technical Support and Service Coordination
- Provide comprehensive front-end technical support throughout both pre-sales and post-sales phases, ensuring smooth service workflows, effective client engagement, and a consistently high-quality customer experience;
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate project execution and maintain quality standards;
- Participate in the preparation or optimization of technical documents and internal workflows;
- Provide technical materials and support for marketing and sales initiatives, such as product presentations and promotional content.
- C. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments (e. g., project management, lab operations, sales, legal, customer service) to align resources and expectations;
- Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and business reviews as required;
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, or delivering technical training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and customer-facing documentation.
- D. Market Insight and Brand Representation
- Represent the company in academic conferences, technical seminars, trade shows, and related industry events to enhance brand visibility and credibility;
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide strategic input;
- Support marketing activities by delivering technical talks, product demonstrations, or other promotional content as required.
- E. Other Duties
- Carry out other job-related duties reasonably assigned by the company in alignment with overall business objectives;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business needs;
- Work as part of a team to help achieve department and company goals, contributing to long-term growth and sustainability.
- 3. Job Requirements
- Ph. D. in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Sequencing, or related fields is essential; background in Bioinformatics is preferred;
- General understanding of bioinformatics tools and sequence analysis methodologies;
- Strong sense of responsibility and customer service mindset;
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and respond to client needs in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner;
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with external clients;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, sufficient for technical communication and training;
- Willingness to travel as required by business;
