RMD Open Editor-in-Chief
BMJ Group seeks an ambitious and dynamic Editor-in-Chief for its leading rheumatology journal, RMD Open (rmdopen.bmj.com ).
The ideal candidate will be an active researcher and/or clinical rheumatologist with a strong vision to develop the journal’s reach, impact and influence internationally. They should have stature in the field and a distinguished publication record. Editorial experience in a decision-making role is essential. International and joint applications are welcomed.
Editorial support and training will be provided, and an honorarium. The Editor should expect to spend around a day per week on journal-related activities. This is an independent contractor position and the term of office is five years, starting officially in January 2026.
