BME Services Ltd is a Global service company that provides a high level of surface preparation and coatings along with specialized cleaning in the Oil and Gas and Marine Industry. From the full turnkey service on helidecks to the refurbishment of walkways, decks and hulls. BME Services have a fleet of specialized equipment to maintain and prepare for our global service technicians to use as part of the service.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be expected to have a full knowledge of the inspection, maintenance and operation of the company's equipment. This will include but not be limited to:
- Electrical / Mechanical Blastrac equipment
- Electrical Mechanical Vertidrive robots for surface preparation
- Diesel engines
- Triplex water jetting pumps
- High pressure water jetting lances and support tooling
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have a skilled trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics with industrial electrical experience.
- The candidate would benefit from a background in surface preparation equipment involving water jetting, Blastrac and coatings equipment.
- The maintenance and repair of hoses and fittings for HP and UHP equipment.
- The use of essential workshop maintenance equipment - drills, grinder, centre lathe, welding.
- Forklift licence and driving licence.
