About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Planning Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the project management team with efficient and effective planning.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Updating and monitoring progress
  • Introduce and analyse change
  • Produce and communicate information in a variety of formats
  • Provide advice and support to teams
  • Develop and maintain a 4D programme
  • Collect and analyse feedback
  • Support with tender documentation
  • Support with allocating resources and costs
  • Support with coaching and mentoring other in the use of planning software (P6)

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A qualification in civil engineering to HND or degree level
  • Substantial experience across a wide range of civil engineering projects
  • Experience and understanding of programming techniques
  • The ability to communicate effectively
  • Competency in the use of P6, and in the use of Microsoft Office and 4D software

Due to the nature of the work and location, additional security checks will be required – a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and have been a UK residence for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.
