As part of the EMEA Legal team, you will support BMC’s sales organization across the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, and additional regions as needed. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in office while collaborating daily with colleagues across EMEA and the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Negotiate and manage a variety of technology contracts, including SaaS, software licensing, support, and consulting services.
  • Ensure contracts comply with local law, EU regulations, and internal policies.
  • Monitor new and upcoming regulatory developments relevant to technology and data.
  • Provide practical legal advice on regional and country‑specific matters.
  • Support corporate compliance initiatives and deliver employee training.
  • Work with external counsel on region‑specific engagements and assist in litigation as required.
  • Partner with sales, finance, compliance, and global legal teams to drive best practices and manage risk.
  • Support ad‑hoc legal projects.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • UK‑qualified lawyer.
  • 1–3 years of post‑qualification experience, ideally in‑house or from a law firm.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English (other European language skills valued).
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to work in a global, fast‑moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
