A small, friendly accountancy practice based in North Tyneside is looking to recruit a Tax Accountant to join the team on either a part-time or full-time basis. This is a flexible opportunity that could suit an experienced tax specialist seeking part-time work, or a full-time accountant with both accounts and tax experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of clients, with duties including:
- Preparation and submission of personal and/or corporate tax returns
- Tax planning and advisory work (depending on experience)
- Liaising with clients and HMRC
- Supporting general practice work where required
For full-time applicants, the role can be split between tax and accounts work, depending on your skillset.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in personal and/or corporate tax
- Is comfortable working independently within a small practice
- Has good communication and client-facing skills
- Is reliable and well-organised
For full-time roles, experience in preparing accounts would be beneficial.
