Job Description
We're looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our client's growing team and take the first step towards becoming a qualified financial planning professional.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of financial products and services who's eager to learn, grow, and gain industry-recognised qualifications.Your role:
- Supporting experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers in preparing financial reports and client documentation
- Conducting product and fund research
- Assisting with administrative duties related to financial planning
- Learning the ins and outs of cashflow modelling, tax planning, pensions, investments, and protection
- Working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) or equivalent qualification
Who we're looking for:
- A genuine interest in financial advice and planning
- Basic knowledge of financial products such as pensions, ISAs, and investments
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ideally, some experience in a financial services environment (but not essential)
