BMC Recruitment Group are partnering with a high‑growth financial services and technology business to recruit a newly created Auto‑Enrolment Pension Manager. The business has a substantial and well‑established pensions proposition and is now focused on expanding its Auto Enrolment and workplace pensions offering. This is a key leadership position, combining Auto Enrolment expertise, regulatory oversight, operational management, and people leadership.

Competitive salary remuneration range between £46,000 to £50,000 inclusive of a bonus.

  • Hybrid working (office‑based initially, then 3 days office / 2 days home)

As Auto‑Enrolment Pension Manager, you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end delivery and compliance of the Auto Enrolment function, ensuring high service standards, strong controls, and positive outcomes for employers, members, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all Auto Enrolment activity is delivered in line with current legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Own SLA performance, quality standards, and operational controls
  • Manage incidents, breaches, complaints, and root‑cause analysis
  • Leadership & People Management
  • Set clear objectives, conduct regular 1‑1s, and manage performance
  • Ensure training, capability, and engagement remain high
  • Embed a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement

Proven experience in Auto Enrolment and/or Workplace Pensions. Experience leading or supervising teams in a pensions environment. Comfortable operating in a regulated financial services setting. Confident using KPIs, SLAs, and MI to manage performance. Candidates without direct Auto Enrolment ownership may still be considered where they bring strong pensions operations and leadership experience.
