Job description BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Mortgage and Protection Consultant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne. About the Role Salary based on experience – £30,000 to £35,000 Bonus Scheme (OTE – £50,000 to £70,000) Full-time permanent position Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (1hr Lunch) Hybrid Working – There will be some hybrid working to this role once training is completed Free on-site parking 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays (increases with length of service) Company pension contribution (increases with length of service) Financial Services Academy – Allowing employees to develop their career within the wealth management sector Company/team events throughout the year Duties/Responsibilities Assess clients\’ financial situations and advise on suitable mortgage products. Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders. Provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns. Conduct thorough research to identify the best mortgage options available for clients. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the financial services sector. Write and provide protection advice About you Proven experience in financial services, preferably within a mortgage advisory role. Must have your full CeMAP qualification Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyse financial data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
