Finance Manager

We are working with a growing Newcastle-based business looking for a Finance Manager, to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Director and supervising a small team, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning.The organisation operates nationally and is continuously growing, with exciting plans ahead for the next year. Offering hybrid working with 2 days at home per week and an easily accessible location via car or public transport links.Experience in a leadership position is essential, coupled with the right skills. This position is suited to a Senior Accountant looking for a step up or an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge.  Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. Lead and mentor a small, but growing, finance team. Collaborate with key stakeholders to support decision-making. Drive process improvements within the finance function. Essential skills and experience: Strong knowledge of finance principles, budgeting, and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Part or Fully-Qualified status.
