Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

BMC Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper for their client in Northallerton.

Here, you will have the opportunity to progress in your chosen area of expertise. Your individual specialization will be supported by managers who encourage your development at every opportunity.

You will not be micromanaged; you manage your own time. There is flexible working, allowing you to tailor your hours around personal commitments.

There may also be an opportunity for a shorter workweek if you have childcare commitments or prefer not to work full-time.

You must be fully qualified AAT or qualified by experience. A UK driving license is essential, as visiting clients\’ sites is part of the role.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Daily bookkeeping
• Providing management information to clients
• Banks reconciliations
• Reconciliation of balance sheets and P&L accounts
• Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of weekly/monthly supplier payments
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
• Accounts receivable and credit control
