Duties/Responsibilities:
– Lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental goals
– Serve as a role model for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People standards
– Develop team competencies and production processes to deliver industry-leading products
– Ensure operators are adequately trained and training documentation is up-to-date
– Champion Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, 8 Waste Reduction, TPM, and TOTEM
– Ensure operators have the correct equipment for daily tasks
– Liaise with supervisors to meet capacity and order commitments
– Manage maintenance requests and ensure work procedures are followed
– Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious work environment
– Select, guide, evaluate, and develop employees to achieve business objectives

About You:
– Level 5 Qualification or equivalent work experience
– 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within production
– Proven ability to lead a department, processes, or projects
– Strong leadership and influencing skills
– In-depth knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within production
– Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
– Exceptional oral and written communication skills
– Methodical and structured approach to planning, reporting, and organisation
– Experience with SAP business systems is a plus
