Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Lead the production of cost plans at various levels and tender documents
- Oversee post-contract cost management and contract administration
- Act as the Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator on various projects
- Collaborate with junior staff to assist in project delivery and mentor their professional development
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and clients
About You
- A relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Chartered qualification preferred but not essential
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong proficiency in producing cost plans and tender documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
