BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Client Account Manager ideally from an engineering background for their client in Middlesbrough, Teesside.
You’ll join a fast-growing, forward-thinking company, where relationships truly matter and your impact is visible every day. In this role, you’ll be the trusted partner for their clients, identifying account growth and upsell opportunities whilst delivering an outstanding service. You’ll focus on client retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow client relationships via calls, Teams, and email
- Identify account growth and upsell opportunities, including market research support
- Manage contract renewals and account reviews
- Resolve client issues and escalate internally when required
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
- Understand client needs and ensure services meet expectations
- Support client and subcontractor onboarding as needed
- Assist with invoicing, contracts, and documentation
- Maintain and update client records in the CRM
- Liaise with PC to allocate personnel to projects
- Log all client feedback in ISO compliance and BMS systems
Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and time-management abilities
- Confident problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commercially aware with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in account management, client services, or a similar role
- Experience working with professional services, construction, or technical environments preferred
- Knowledge of ISO accreditation would be advantageous
