As an Associate Director, you will be at the forefront of managing client relationships and overseeing a team of Quantity Surveyors at various levels. Your role will also involve assisting with the management duties of a Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) practice and acting on behalf of the company in either a Quantity Surveying or Employer's Agent capacity. The projects you will manage span across Scotland, with a significant focus on the central belt, covering sectors such as residential, hotels and leisure, education, industrial, public buildings, commercial, and office fit-out.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture client relationships
  • Assist with the management duties of a PQS practice
  • Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors
  • Act on behalf of the company in Quantity Surveying or Employer's Agent roles
  • Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Maintain high standards of project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team

About You

  • Relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Chartered Qualification (MRICS or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Quantity Surveying practices
  • Experience in sectors such as residential, hotels and leisure, education, industrial, public buildings, commercial, and office fit-out
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working model
