Electrical Estimator for their client in Middlesbrough, Teesside.

You'll join this fast-paced business who believe in looking after their staff, culture is at the top of their priority!

They are passionate about helping the local community and making a difference where they can.

If you're an experienced

Electrical Estimator who enjoys winning work, solving problems and having a real influence on projects, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

They are a rapidly growing business working at the cutting edge of data centres, critical power and digital infrastructure.

With the demand for AI and data infrastructure accelerating, they’re winning exciting projects across the globe — and are looking for an

Electrical Estimator to help them to win even more.

This isn't a role where you'll simply take a set of drawings, put numbers against them and send over a price.

You'll be involved in the whole process.

From the initial enquiry through to tender submission, you'll work alongside sales, design and delivery teams to develop solutions, challenge assumptions, spot opportunities and build commercially competitive bids.

Responsibilities/Requirements

  • You'll take ownership of electrical tenders from start to finish, including:
  • Building detailed and commercially robust estimates for critical infrastructure projects.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents and getting to grips with what's really required.
  • Pricing LV and MV distribution systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, busbar, containment and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Sourcing and negotiating competitive prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Building accurate material, labour, plant and subcontract costs.
  • Working with sales and design to find smarter, more competitive ways of delivering projects.
  • Identifying risks, opportunities and potential cost savings before they become problems.
  • Preparing clear pricing breakdowns, tender submissions and commercial clarifications.
  • Building relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining accurate cost data and using historical information to improve future estimates.
  • Supporting the project team when a tender becomes a live project.
  • Helping improve the way we estimate, price and win work as the business continues to grow.

Why this role?

Because you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

You'll be joining a business that's growing quickly, working on projects at the centre of the global digital infrastructure boom.

You'll have the freedom to challenge, improve and influence the way projects are priced — rather than simply following a process.

You'll work with experienced people across sales, engineering and project delivery, and your estimates will directly contribute to securing some seriously interesting projects.

If you're commercially driven, technically strong and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a tender you've built turn into a project, I’d like to hear from you,
