BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Projects Manager to join a client who are in the construction industry based in London.
About the Role
- Competitive salary

- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage projects from the completion of the design stage to the completion of build works on site
- Accept and commence build works as instructed
- Conduct and document site visits to assess job requirements
- Interpret designs and drawings to ensure accurate completion of works
- Create and manage construction programmes compatible with deadlines
- Liaise with third parties including warranty providers, building control, sub‑contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and project management
- Provide clear instructions to all parties to maintain professional standards and ensure works are completed to design specifications
- Document and agree on any variations to the original design specification, ensuring these are tracked and promptly communicated for acceptance
- Prepare necessary documentation for the completion of works, including risk assessments and method statements
- Manage sub‑contractors to ensure professional standards are met
- Procure plant and materials in line with project timescales
- Oversee overall site management, allocating duties and resources efficiently
- Maintain the Group’s database with project progress from start to finish
- Prepare and submit invoices following the correct process
About You
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to interpret technical plans and drawings
- Proficient in preparing and managing documentation such as risk assessments and method statements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and company standards
