BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Group Warehouse Manager for their client in Boldon, Tyne and Wear. You will be based at the office in Boldon, however in the near future (6-9 months' time) they will be moving to larger premises, based at Newton Aycliffe. You must be willing to be relocated to the new office, with no hybrid working. This is a site-based role.
You’ll be a dynamic warehouse leader with several years' experience in leading and developing a team. You are forward thinking and want to make a difference, with passion for delivering the highest standard of service.
Full time 40 hours a week – Permanent. Early finish on a Friday. Fresh Fruit, snacks, Tea/coffee facilities, water and juices provided free by the company.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Oversee daily warehouse activities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Team leadership and staff supervision
- Process improvement, implement change
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Manage logistics, despatch and delivery
- Oversee safe loading and delivery vehicles, including route planning
- Working closely with internal departments for example project and sales department
- Budget and cost management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
