Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to support Financial Advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions. As a Paraplanner, you'll play a vital role in the financial planning process, preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters
- Gathering and analysing client information
- Researching financial products and solutions
- Obtaining information from pension providers and third parties
- Supporting Financial Advisers throughout the advice process
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changes
- Working closely with administrators and other team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
About You
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
- Experience writing suitability reports
- A strong understanding of financial planning products and advice processes
- DipPFS qualification (or working towards it) is desirable
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using financial planning software being advantageous
