Sir Frederick Gibberd College are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our experienced team and assist with both internal and external examinations throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Distributing and collecting exam papers
- Ensuring full compliance with examination regulations in exam rooms
- Following instructions given by the Exams Officer
Person Specification
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work methodically and in an organised manner
- Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Be reliable and punctual
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Availability Requirements
- Applicants must be available on an ad hoc basis during November, January, May, and June.
- Applicants must be available for the exam season covering GCSE and A Levels (May and June) and other ad hoc PPE sessions throughout the academic year.
- The hours of work are typically between 8.30am and 4.00pm; however, as the hours are determined by each examination, working times may vary from day to day.

- All applicants will be subject to full employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
- Hours will be allocated in advance under a casual contract.
