Job Description Responsibilities
- Maintaining firm’s accounts and managing cash movement (including VAT accounts, client account and business account).
- Preparing Quarterly Cash Flow Analysis.
- Client and business banking including inputting invoices and sending out cheques and BACS payments.
- Preparing wages and VAT returns.
- Posting financial entries and maintaining relevant copies of bookkeeping entries within the filing and accounts system.
- Assisting the Accountant as required by photocopying documents.
- Assisting other members of staff with particular problems relating to accounts queries on cases.
- Conducting various ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
- Attending relevant training as required.
- Maintaining full knowledge of and adhering to the requirements of the rules and the accounting requirements of the SRA’s Standards and Regulations and SRA Accounts Rules.
