Panda Waste is a trusted leader in waste transportation, specialising in efficient, sustainable management solutions that power the circular economy. We are looking for a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team based out of our Bromborough depot, specifically operating Artic (Walking Floor) trailers.
The Role
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles and Artic Moving/Walking Floor trailers.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate digital logs and ensure strict adherence to EU drivers’ hours and the Working Time Directive.
- Maintenance: Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects.
- Route Planning: Follow efficient routes to maximize productivity and minimize environmental impact.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional ambassador for Panda Waste at all collection and delivery points.
What We Are Looking For
- A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with an up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven Class 1 driving experience.
- Previous experience with Moving Floor / Walking Floor trailers is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work well independently.
What We Offer

- Basic Rate: £15.45 per hour (First 40 hours)
- Overtime (40+ hours): 1.25x hourly rate
- Saturdays: 1.5x hourly rate
