We’re on the lookout for a

Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join our Imports Centre in Ellesmere Port.

  • This is a full-time role, working closely with our
  • Site Operations team and reporting to the
  • National Facilities Manager

. You’ll be instrumental in resolving issues, driving repairs, and maintaining equipment to ensure our site operates at its best.

  • Your Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and uphold facilities standards, implementing proactive management practices across the site.
  • Oversee third-party contracts to ensure value for money and high standards of service.
  • Ensure compliance with national standards, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
  • Develop and action planned maintenance schedules to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Plan and manage facilities requirements, including capital and revenue site spend.
  • Evaluate site and project work, ensuring it meets specifications and timelines.
  • Supervise on-site contractors and lead our site hygiene teams.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in facilities management or engineering within a warehousing environment.
  • A track record of building and managing successful multi-skilled maintenance teams and overseeing on-site implementation.
  • Knowledge of warehouse infrastructure such as racking, dock doors, dock lifting systems, sprinklers, lighting, and power distribution
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple maintenance projects.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in negotiating with contractors on quotes and timelines.
  • Experience with warehouse automation is highly desirable.
