Role and Responsibilities
- Pick and pack steel or steel related material
- Maintain inventory controls by storing stock away in the relevant location
- Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, pulling materials, banding and labelling consignments
- Correctly complete delivery tickets and return to the ticket holding area
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the warehouse supervisor or the Depot Manager
- Complete all daily vehicle inspection and record defects
- Ensure all products are loaded on the vehicle in a safe manner, strapped and secured adequately
- Ensure all PPE is worn in the warehouse
- Maintain equipment by performing 'Before use Checks' and reporting any faults via management or to the maintenance team
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line manager
