DUTIES
- Operation of Plasma & Gas Profiling Machines (training provided if required)
- Quality checks of materials and equipment
- Preparation of parts ready for dispatch
- Completing all relevant checks and paperwork
- Working in conjunction with profiling office to deliver a high quality product & service to customers
- Maintain inventory controls by stowing stock away in the relevant location
- Prepare customer orders by processing work orders; picking materials, banding and labelling consignments, ready for vehicle loading
- Prepare customer orders by processing customer collection requests; picking material and loading the customers vehicle when they arrive to collect their material
- Assist drivers with loading vehicles and ensuring all material is loaded
- Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to assist with material handling
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the Operations Manager or Depot Manager
- Ensure PPE is worn at all times in the warehouse
- Carry out all daily, weekly and monthly checks as required by the companies procedures
- Maintain equipment by performing ‘Before Use Checks’ and reporting any faults
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line managers
- Adhere to our environmental policy by ensuring all waste is disposed of in the correct skips (wood, metal, general)
