The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 β¬ per month.
Working within a busy office environment and reporting to the Production Manager. SPS offers a variety of profile cutting services from high specification steel products which require direct input from a CAD/CAM system (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing). Full training on products and software packages will be provided. The right candidate will assist with the daily operation of the profiling division and help to meet & exceed targets set for the Division. To be successful in this role, you should be confident, with a willingness to learn & develop within the role.
Key functions of the role will be learning a variety of processes in both commercial and operational aspects. Being comfortable talking to all levels of employee and also a good telephone manner and the ability to build a rapport with customers is a pre-requisite. On completion of a successful trial period, the employee can progress to attending a day-release college course in a suitable engineering discipline.
KEY TASKS (Training given where required)- Dealing proactively with incoming profiling enquiries
- Co-ordinating & preparing quotations & tenders
- Providing CAD support
- Answering calls & queries by email from internal & external sources
- Building & maintaining strong working relationships with internal colleagues, customers & suppliers
- Following up with customers for feedback on costs supplied
- Working closely with Operations & Sales Teams
- Liaise with other group companies where required
- Comply with Company policies & procedures
- The ability to read construction & engineering drawings & develop cost estimates (Desirable)
- Understanding of steel & profiling (Desirable)
- The ability to manage time well & manage multiple projects (Essential)
