We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team as an IT PMO Lead.

Based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Technology change portfolio, ensuring projects and programmes are governed effectively and delivered successfully.

This role would suit an experienced PMO professional who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, driving best practice, and providing clear oversight across a complex project portfolio.

The Role Will Include

  • Managing portfolio governance, controls and reporting
  • Supporting project prioritisation, planning and resource management
  • Producing portfolio updates and insights for senior stakeholders
  • Monitoring risks, issues, dependencies and project performance
  • Facilitating governance forums and portfolio review meetings
  • Maintaining PMO standards, processes, templates and documentation
  • Supporting Project Managers and Programme Managers with delivery assurance
  • Driving continuous improvement across PMO processes and ways of working
  • Managing portfolio dashboards and reporting using tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
  • Significant PMO experience within a medium to large IT environment
  • A strong understanding of project and programme governance
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting and portfolio insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience supporting technology change and transformation programmes
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Point and Microsoft Project skills
  • It Would Be Desirable If You Also Have
  • Retail sector experience
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • PMO certifications such as P3O, Mo P or PMO Practitioner
  • Experience implementing PMO frameworks and processes
