Are you an experienced building maintenance professional? Or are you recently qualified and looking for your first role post education in building maintenance? We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to join B&M in our Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool. The shift pattern available is: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week. This is a hands-on role, where you will be supporting our Maintenance Manager with the general maintenance and upkeep of our Distribution Centre. This will involve testing of our water and electrical systems, general building upkeep (decoration), installation of new equipment and much more. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be based on site, 5 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding swiftly to any breakdowns and issues raised by colleagues
- Carrying out routine/planned maintenance tasks
- Maintaining accurate records on our facilities management system
- Collaborating and working alongside third party contractors
- Assisting with quotes, project work and general tasks
What You’ll Bring
- A trade qualification at level 2 or higher (plumbing, electrical or carpentry)
- A strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- A "can do" attitude, no job is too small or too large
- Ability to use both power and hand tools as required
- Hands-on experience in a warehousing environment is desired, but not essential
