As a Junior Estates Manager, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced retail environment, supporting the management, optimisation and growth of a diverse nationwide store portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property professional looking to build broad commercial property experience. Working alongside experienced Estates Managers and senior property leaders, you'll gain exposure to acquisitions, lease events, portfolio management and financial analysis, while taking ownership of day‑to‑day estate management activities and developing the skills needed to progress into a full Estates Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification and assessment of new store opportunities, assisting with site appraisals, property analysis and acquisition business cases.
- Assist with rent reviews, lease renewals and regear negotiations, preparing supporting information, financial assessments and market evidence.
- Help manage a portfolio of trading stores, ensuring property records are maintained, lease obligations are monitored and landlord enquiries are resolved.
- Produce financial appraisals, investment papers, portfolio reports and commercial analysis to support property decision‑making.
- Build strong relationships with landlords, agents, surveyors and solicitors while coordinating actions across multiple live projects and transactions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree qualified in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or a related discipline, with MRICS qualification in progress or recently achieved.
- Previous experience within commercial property, retail estates, agency, asset management or a related property environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret data and support commercially sound decisions.
