Be part of something bigger at B&M! We’re looking for a passionate and driven HR Advisor to join our Distribution Centre in Speke. This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performance HR team, a team that plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting our HR Business Partners with the day to day running of the HR Department.
- Providing managers with HR Advice, as well as supporting employees with their queries.
- Conducting Right to Work checks and maintaining our in-house trackers.
- Conducting HR related investigations and disciplinaries when required.
- Monitoring sickness/absence/performance of colleagues.
- Supporting with general administration tasks, such as ordering uniform and updating colleague detail files.
- Getting involved with several HR related projects across the business.
What we’re looking for
- Someone who can communicate with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Organised, and able to juggle multiple projects/cases at once.
- An understanding of, and experience dealing with, different cultures.
- High volume ER experience, ideally in a warehouse or factory environment.
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR Best Practise.
- Great time management and organisation skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Previous experience of working within a unionised environment is desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
