At B&M, we're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support our Non-Food commercial teams, providing critical financial insight, robust analysis and constructive challenge that drives profitable decision-making. Working closely with Trading, Merchandising and Supply Chain stakeholders, you will play a key role in improving performance across a diverse and fast-paced product portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing commercial decisions and turning complex data into actionable insights. You will be at the heart of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis, helping to maximise sales, margin and stock efficiency across the Non-Food division.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Commercial, Trading and Merchandising teams to challenge performance, provide insight and influence business decisions.
- Produce and own weekly and monthly reporting, including KPI dashboards, variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Deliver detailed sales, margin, promotional and seasonal sell-through analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, improving forecast accuracy and challenging key assumptions.
- Support business case development, range reviews and stock investment decisions to optimise profitability and cash performance.
About You
- Strong commercial finance experience with the ability to analyse P&L performance, margins, price and volume drivers.
- CIMA / ACCA qualified with 3+ years experience in similar role within Retail, Leisure or Travel.
- Previous experience of advanced modelling in excel and visualising insights into Power BI or equivalent tool.
- A proactive, curious and results-focused approach with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
