B&M Retail are recruiting for a Floor Supervisor to join our team in Rydon Lane Retail Park, Exeter. This is a permanent, part-time role, 16 hours a week, with the flexibility to work daytime, evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Support the Floor Manager in ensuring store standards for our customers.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure colleagues demonstrate the appropriate behaviours in the checkout area and on the sales floor.
- Provide colleagues with the appropriate skills and knowledge.
- Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
- Be highly visible and approachable to customers and colleagues.
- Operate and deliver processes that ensure the store meets all legal requirements.
- Merchandise the store to provide a welcoming customer environment which also delivers sales and profitability.
- Protect and safeguard the Company assets.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Experience supervising/managing a small team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A flexible approach and a “can do” attitude.
- The ability to think on your feet.
