We’re looking for a Deputy Store Manager to join our store team in the Manchester area! Initially, this will be a designate position to cover the Manchester area and could cover a number of our stores across Manchester. Being flexible to travel across this area would be essential for this role. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in running the store — driving performance, maintaining high standards, and leading your team by example. This is a hands-on role where you\\\’ll be active on the shop floor, setting the pace and coaching your team to success.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage store operations on a day-to-day basis to drive performance and maintain high standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop medium to large teams, rebuilding and maintaining a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Set the pace on the shop floor and model expected standards of customer service, efficiency, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategic plans and operational improvements.
  • Travel across Manchester area stores as required by the designate position.

What We’re Looking For

  • Retail management experience in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop medium to large teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record of hitting KPIs
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Experience in FMCG or big box retail is ideal, but not essential
