We are currently recruiting for a Communications Coordinator to join our Central Operations Team. This role is full time, permanent based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool. We have 780+ stores in the UK and this role will ensure that they each get the essential communications needed to stay aligned with the business's operational objectives.
This role involves managing a wide range of communications, including day-to-day retail guidance and updates, tasks and activities, commercial launches and urgent essential compliance actions. You will regularly coordinate with other departments throughout the business and create written content from scratch, so excellent written English and grammatical skills are important.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Delivering timely, high-quality BAU store communications in line with agreed formats and governance.
- Managing and prioritising the store communications inbox, ensuring clear briefs and efficient workflow.
- Producing clear, store-ready communication packs with accurate content and actionable messaging.
- Maintaining Hub pages, libraries, and communication schedules, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Coordinating critical communications such as product recalls and withdrawals with speed and accuracy.
- Driving continuous improvement in communication clarity, templates, and processes to reduce store queries.
- Supporting reporting on communication activity, including volume, timeliness, and rework.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Confident to create content for communicating to a nationwide audience.
- An independent thinker, with a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise, and respond to tight deadlines.
- A collaborator who can also work on an individual basis with initiative.
- Experience in retail is ideal, but not essential.
