As a Local Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering marketing campaigns that support new store openings, relocations, refurbishments and other priority local initiatives across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive marketer looking to broaden their experience across multiple marketing channels within a fast-paced retail environment. Working closely with teams across Marketing, PR, Social Media, CRM, Creative, Store Development and Operations, you'll help ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, effectively and on time while contributing to the success of one of the UK's leading retailers.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of local marketing campaigns for new stores, relocations, refurbishments and priority retail initiatives across a range of marketing channels.
- Coordinate campaign activity across paid social, paid search, PR, CRM, social media, out-of-home advertising, local media, community engagement and in-store marketing.
- Manage campaign timelines, briefs, creative assets, media bookings and approvals, ensuring all activity is delivered to schedule.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, agencies and external suppliers to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with store development milestones.
- Maintain campaign trackers, budgets, project documentation and performance reporting, helping to identify insights and opportunities for future improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a marketing, campaign management, retail marketing or agency environment, with exposure to coordinating multiple marketing activities simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work accurately to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with colleagues, agencies and external partners at all levels.
- Commercially aware, with an interest in understanding how local marketing activity drives customer acquisition, brand awareness and store performance.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and detail-oriented, with a desire to develop experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines within a dynamic retail business.
