We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Planner for our Distribution Centre in Speke.
You will be assisting in the forecasting/planning for this site. This role would be ideal for someone who is proficient in Excel, numbers focused and who wants a career within supply chain. You will be an integral part of the warehouse team.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm
The key accountabilities of the role will include but not limited to:
- Monitor, maintain and ensure accurate reporting of KPI data.
- Working with payroll team to resolve discrepancies.
- Tracking site’s performance, analyse and report data.
- Plan site’s labour vs volume requirements and deployment within the DC.
- Liaison with the operational team to develop and deliver plans for recruitment.
- Monitoring planned vs. actual volumes, analysing variance and cost implications.
- Identification of recurring issues that raise cost and reduce performance.
- Management of shift patterns and rotas and other planning tools, displaying cost-effective planning
- Working with external agency providers, forward planning labour requirements
The key skills and experience required are:
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential.
- Strong communication skills at all levels, verbal and written.
- Highly organised, results driven and commercially minded.
- Able to work accurately, managing tight timescales & demonstrating attention to detail.
- Warehouse Management System use highly desired. Training on our system can be provided.
