We have an exciting opportunity to join our Store Development Team as an Admin Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in store operations who is ready to take the next step into an office-based role, gaining valuable experience and expanding their skills and understanding of the wider business. This role is permanent full-time 39hrs (Monday-Friday), and will be based at our Runcorn DC Office (WA7 1SE). Please note that public transport access to this site is limited, so this role is best suited to candidates with their own vehicle/transport.
What would I be doing day to day?
- Translating store plans
- Calculating and ordering equipment for both new and existing stores e.g., shelving, checkouts
- Issuing purchase orders & receipting invoices via Oracle finance system (training provided)
- Other administrative duties as required
- Dealing with a large number of contractors, suppliers, stores & all levels of management via email & telephone
What are we looking for?
- Experience as a Store Colleague/Floor Supervisor or Manager who is familiar with store shelving/equipment components
- Able to work at rapid pace
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Oracle system advantageous but not essential
- A confident communicator with excellent organizational skills and a practical, meticulous mindset!
