We have an exciting opportunity to join our Store Central Operations team as Pest Escalation Support, acting as the key contact for pest control related solutions. This is a permanent and full-time role with regional travel required. Reporting to our Pest Operations Manager, this would suit someone with prior field based or head office pest control experience. The role will require travel to stores across Scotland and Northern Ireland, with overnight stays possibly required, therefore flexibility is a must.
You will be currently in a Pest Escalation role or have a Health & Safety background where you may have had exposure to pest control. In the role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing pest control accounts with 3rd party supplier(s)
- Analysing reports and information to identify potential issues
- Assessing risks to the business, to prioritise actions and outcomes
- Keeping a keen eye on costs incurred and checking for any discrepancies
- Completing pest control inspections and escalations across stores
- Communicating findings and risks to stores and management within the business
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- RSPH/BPCA qualified, Level 3 or Field Biologist desired
- Experienced within pest control or health & safety with exposure to pest control
- Organised and able to make decisions quickly whilst delivering solutions
- An excellent communicator – written and verbal
- Skilled in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- IT (Excel) and data analysis skills
This is a field based role, with a company car provided, therefore a full UK driver’s license is required.
