Progression and development is something we strongly believe in at B&M, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Learning & Development Partner to join us as we continue to grow. You will play a key role in delivering our Management Development Programmes and supporting our colleagues across the UK to reach their full potential. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in face-to-face training delivery within a fast-paced retail environment, who is passionate about engaging learners and creating impactful development content. You will be based in Central Scotland, however extensive travel will be required to support our expanding store network across Scotland and Northern Ireland. As a Regional Learning & Development Partner you will:
- Deliver engaging face-to-face management development workshops and training sessions across multiple locations
- Research, design and develop impactful learning materials and content to support management development programmes
- Produce high-quality training resources for both classroom-based and blended learning solutions
- Identify ongoing training and development needs across the business
- Monitor trainee progress and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions
- Support colleagues through coaching, facilitation and assessment, both on a one-to-one basis and within group environments
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams and key stakeholders
- Keep up to date with internal and external learning trends and best practices
- Support continuous improvement of training programmes and learning content
The Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience delivering face-to-face Management Development training within a retail, hospitality or similarly fast-paced environment
- Retail sector experience is highly desirable
- Experience designing and creating engaging training materials, resources and learning content
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire different audiences
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised with strong planning and time-management skills
- Collaborative approach with strong team-working capability
- Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently
- Positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
